Until tonight, I had one persistent reason for booting up my Windows partition every day. Now I only have to do it when work demands it. (Don’t get me wrong. We still run Vista on three of the five computers in our home. But my daily driver runs Ubuntu, and now it also runs World of WarCraft.)

Just got back from a few sweet days of diving, snorkeling, and swimming around in the waters of Oahu. Or at least, that’s my version of the vacation. For Christine, it was more about shopping in Waikiki. In the sunlight between the water and the sidewalks, we burned a ton of calories, and burned most of the skin off our bodies. Felt great.
