Perfectly Natural
With the baby on the way, Christine and I have been pondering a lot of things we haven’t thought much about in the past. Breastfeeding is at the top of the list, but Christine probably won’t take it this far.

Today we went in and got our second ultrasound. The baby was kicking and squirming away. It was just amazing to watch.

It annoys me to no end that Google Maps does such a terrible job of updating its satellite views and, for that matter, its actual maps. We’ve been living in this house for two and a half years, and Google still doesn’t have an aerial view of it. Judging from the early state of construction of the neighborhood in their current images, I’d say Google’s shots of my town (one of the 12 fastest-growing towns in the United States) are about 4 years out of date. And it’s not just the satellite shots that are lacking, either. Several nearby streets — some of them pretty major — aren’t even represented on the map.
Meanwhile, Microsoft has managed to acquire satellite photos and aerial shots of my home from all directions. How is Google going to become the next Microsoft if Microsoft beats them at something so basic?

My mother-in-law left her German shepherd, Rocco, with us for the weekend. Sasha is giving him a run for his money.
