Earthquakes Victory

Shaky Start for the Quakes

Published by Robert under Sport

Sure, it was a bummer seeing the Quakes go down 2-0 in their season opener, but if they had to fall to anyone, it might as well be Beckham and Donovan. That duo may well be unstoppable this season. Meanwhile, I’m looking to Gavin Glinton and Kei Kamara for some big offensive plays for the Earthquakes this year.

Frankly, it was great seeing Beckham back on his game, even if it did come at the expense of my home team. Ultimately, a winning Beckham in top form will be better for MLS soccer than a winning San Jose Earthquakes could ever be. Even so, I’m hoping to see the Quakes reclaim their past glory under the direction of Coach Yallop.
